It was always a dream of mine to open my own salon as my mobile business kept growing. So in 2019 I took the decision to open Katie Jayne's Sports & Beauty.
The salon boasts a great location offering plenty of light downstairs with all glass windows, while upstairs remains calm and tranquil within the two treatment rooms. I decided Elemis would be an amazing product to have within the salon as many years ago the award-winning clinically proven products healed my acne and I have seen the instant results that can be achieved with just one non-surgical facial treatment. I hope to share my love for this salon with lots of customers old and new.
Katie Jayne
Kate
Kate has been in the Beauty industry since 2007. She has completed 6 years worth of training at both Petroc college in Devon and in Melbourne Australia. Kate has gained extensive experience from working in a variety of salons, spas and also during her time teaching at Petroc. After five extremely busy years as a mobile therapist, She took the plunge to open her own Salon. Her favourite treatments are nail art and pedicures.
Charlotte
Charlotte has been in the Beauty & Holistic industry since 2011. Working in a variety of Spas and Salons within North Devon. She is Qualified in beauty therapy and nail technology, as well as attending extra courses. Charlotte's speciality is to provide a completely relaxing experience for each client from the moment they arrive until they leave. Her favourite treatments are Biotec facials & aromatherapy massages, as she loves seeing the clients leave feeling rejuvenated.
Emma
Emma is our senior beauty therapist and has been at Katie Jayne's since 2019. She has worked in the beauty and holistic industry Ince 2010 and is qualified in beauty, body & spa, nail technology and sports massage. As well as working in multiple spas & salons, she has also completed various specialised training.
Emma enjoys offering a wide range of treatments. Her favourites being deep tissue massage, facial, eye treatments and pedicures.
She loves her clients to feel pampered and relaxed with a sense of well-being.
Kimberley
Kimberley has been in the Beauty and Holistic industry since 2009. She is qualified in Level 3 Facial Therapy & Level 3 Body & Spa Therapy.
You may recognise Kimberley from Bideford where she opened her own salon in 2013 until 2021. After taking a short break from the beauty industry she is back to do what she enjoys.
Her favourite treatments include Hot Stones and Elemis facials. Kimberley has fitted in just perfectly and she enjoys making clients feeling calm and refreshed.
Holly
Holly started working in the beauty industry this year after training in Level 2 & 3 Beauty therapy. Joining us from a busy salon in Bideford.
She loves learning new skills like Deep tissue massage, nail art & Lash lift & tint. She enjoys providing a variety of treatments, but her favourite is facials, eyebrows & Shellac.
Holly is constantly looking for new courses to widen her range of knowledge and experience as she loves to learn new skills.
Tilly
Tilly joined Katie Jayne's in June 2023. She is qualified in Level 2 & 3 beauty therapy.
Tilly has a passion for eyebrows and lashes and loves to help the client leave feeling a million dollars.
Her favourite treatments are lash lifts & waxing, as she loves to see the transformation.
Keira
Keira Joined us in 2023 for work experience, and we were so blown away with her attentiveness, that she has joined us as a Saturday girl.
She is qualified in level 2 beauty and currently studying Level 3 beauty & spa therapy, training in sports massage later this year.
Her favourite treatments are massage, lash lift, eyebrows and shellac. She loves to meet new people, help clients feel relaxed and get the best out of their treatment.
